Concept study for the design of a private villa located in the countryside of Salento, in the region of Puglia.
The project was developed with particular attention to the integration of the building within the surrounding rural landscape. The design approach aimed to respect the natural character of the site, preserving the identity of the local countryside while establishing a harmonious dialogue between architecture and environment.
Special care was taken in the selection of traditional materials typical of the region, such as local stone and natural finishes, in order to reinforce the connection with the territory and maintain architectural continuity with the existing landscape. Volumes, proportions, and openings were studied to enhance natural light, ventilation, and visual relationships with the surrounding fields.
The conceptual study played a fundamental role in evaluating the environmental impact of the intervention. Detailed 3D modeling and realistic renderings were essential tools in assessing the visual integration of the villa within the landscape, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the project’s spatial presence and its relationship with the natural context.
